BBC have a list here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-22541130 unfortunately, their sorting doesn't work, so here's the premiership clubs in order of average attendance

Club 2012/13 average 2011/12 average Highest attendance 2012/13 Lowest attendance 2012/13

Manchester United 75,529 75,387 75,605 75,142

Arsenal 60,079 60,000 60,112 59,872

Newcastle United 50,517 49,935 52,385 43,858

Manchester City 46,974 47,044 47,386 45,579

Liverpool 44,748 44,253 45,009 44,263

Chelsea 41,462 41,478 41,794 38,484

Sunderland 40,544 39,095 47,456 35,628

Everton 36,355 33,228 39,613 32,510

Tottenham Hotspur 36,066 36,026 36,763 35,534

Aston Villa 35,059 33,873 42,084 28,692

West Ham 34,719 30,923 35,005 33,052

Southampton 30,873 26,419 31,944 28,004

Stoke City 26,919 27,225 27,544 24,421

Norwich City 26,671 26,605 26,842 26,072

Fulham 25,394 25,293 25,700 24,087

West Brom 25,359 24,798 26,438 23,854

Reading 23,862 19,219 24,184 22,321

Swansea City 20,370 19,946 20,650 19,603

Wigan Athletic 19,173 18,633 23,001 15,436

Queens Park Rangers 17,779 17,295 18,337 16,658

In all, I think we've done very well considering the economic climate and the dire performances we've been subjected to. Interesting to note that 3 of the bottom 4 went down. Of course Swansea (and West Brom, Newcastle and us) show that the relationship between crowd size and performance isn't a strong cause-effect one - in either direction.
How comes we average 5 and a half thousand more than Villa, when they are allegedly a bigger club than us, think you got that one wrong Mr Bent. Sorry lads couldn't resist a pop at Judas.
Considering the **** football us and the Mags have had to put up with that's pretty impressive. Also considering that we draw the vast majority from our own city where as most of the others draw theirs nationally if not internationally (how many Sunderland shirts do you see outside of Sunderland compared with Man U, Chelski, Gooners, Citeh,Spuds and even the Mags) makes it even more impressive for us.
2 Sunderland shirts in Surrey, me and my lad. His last school is right next to Chelsea training ground, so all the kids naturally had all of the Chelsea kit. Apart from my lad who point blank refused to wear anything other than his Sunderland kit, all the kids would laugh at him but he was proud to wear the colours of our club. Not bad considering he was born down here, but supports the lads with pride.
According to the 'empty seats' theory QPR are better supported than us!. I have heard Man city will extend their ground to hold 56,000, and Liverpool are building a new stand in the future. on sky sports if i saw it right Spurs have got a new stadium nearly finished, but it's the first i have heard.
Same where I live - there's me and one other bloke! Fair play to the lad, he's got some balls! Can't be easy with all that peer pressure
So we both averaged higher attendances this season compared to last season? So it is true.... We are a glutton for punishment. We must be mental
some of our lads wee saying we're 8th in Europe apparently. Consett is about 45%/55% in favour of Toon shirts.. at a guess.
Once again proof that despite our pathetic failings on the park, at least the fans of both NE clubs can be proud of themselves.
4/5th full on average, canny considering they are ****e. hats of to you all for watching and paying for such utter ****e..
Excuse my geography here, but is Chelsea not on the north side of the Thames, and Surrey on the south? I've nee idea where the training ground is mins so excuse my ignorance.
