i personally think that's the wrong call. finn will have more joy at lords i feel but can see why bresnan got the call. at least we won the toss! wouldn't fancy batting last
Many thought that, JK. Especially as Lords (or Lourdes, as a BBC announcer said yesterday ) is his home ground. Problem with that theory now is as a centrally contracted player, how many matches does he get to play at Lords to give him any real advantage over Brezza or Onions?
Fair point Cromer. I like to see Finn included in a main 4-man bowling attack as he's a bit different to the other seamers. Anderson/Broad/Onions are similar styles in my opinion and all of them (including Bresnan) aren't as quick as Finn. I like a bit of pace and bounce to compliment Anderson and Broad's accuracy and swing.
I don't know if anyone follows this fake Richie Benaud account on twitter, but he has me in stitches. Frequently.
So as predicted two changes for the Aussies and Brennan in for Finn. We need to have a nice solid start and build a platform. Hope Harris doesn't hit the ground running and deals up a few nice juicy four balls. Bit of pressure on England's batters and root could do with a few to solidify his place at the top. Come on England
An unbeaten hundred from Brennan before tea and dropping Finn will show the selectors in a good light
