    Bristol City will try and offload Neil Kilkenny in the summer
    due to his large wage bill and his poor performances, suspected suitors are Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich respectively.

    A fantastic result Barnsley! Now finish the job at Huddersfield! In the meantime the Directors should award David Flitcroft a two year contract prior to last game of the season. If they know their job then they must not hesitate. Please don't wait until the end of the season! I sure other clubs will be looking at what he has achieved at Oakwell! Please Directors give the lad a contract. I am sure the vast majority of supporters would endorse this plea.

    I agree with the above, the directors must give David Flitcroft a contract. Whatever happens at Huddersfield, Flitcroft deserves at least a two year contract. If Barnsley go down, God forbid, then the directors are to blame! Keith Hill should have been sacked in October! Good luck to all the Barnsley players!     Crystal Palace will make a bid Bristol City's Albert Adomah in the summer.
    The player is under contract, but with Bristol looking to trim their wage bill and reduce debt, they will be willing to do business.
    Expect Palace to make an initial bid of £750k which is likely to be turned down, but a deal of just over £1m may suit both clubs.

    Relegated Bristol City will not be taking Jon Stead, Liam Fontaine, Albert Adomah, Lewis Nyatanga or Neil Kilkenny with them to League 1. Kilkenny is interesting former club Leeds, Norwich and Bournemouth. Liam Fontaine, who's contract expires at the end of next season, is in talks with Reading and could follow outgoing Nyatanga to the Madejski. Albert Adomah will move to Crystal Palace to replace Wilfried Zaha.

    Really? You think Norwich are interested in Kilkenny? Not even remotely and if he were willing to play for £0 a week. We are looking for better players than we have not league 1 standard players any longer.

    Ive seen a few rumours linking us with James Baxendale from Walsall. Used to work under SOD and Kelly at Doncaster. Worked with Kelly at Walsall too. Only 20. Year left on his contract looks a good player at league 1 with plenty of time to improve

    Blackburn will be talking to Gary Johnson about taking over at Ewood Park in the summer.
    Johnson has done an amazing job taking Yeovil to 4th in League 1, but has yet to sign a new contract. Johnson's current deaL expires at the end of June. While talks are be held with Yeovil, Blackburn are waiting in the wings until the end of their season.

    Having spent 30mins or so Trawling the rumour sitesThe Following are supposed to be on our Transfer Radar
    Andy Williams from Swindon ( Striker/Winger )
    Jennison Myrie Williams - returning to the Gate from Port Vale( 24 Wide Midfield perhaps to replace AA?)
    Jacques Maghoma - Burton Albion ( 25 Midfielder)
    Simon Gillet - Nottingham Forest (27 Midfield Has signed for SOD several times)
    Ashton Taylor - Tranmere (22 Defender ? Central)
    Paul Downing (21 Defender) and Jamie Paterson (21 Winger/Striker) both from Walsall
    no idea how accurate these are but I found them on at least 2 sites
    Sorry Never having seen any of these play have no idea what they are like.

    Leeds are to step up their interest in Wolves' Kevin Doyle following Wolves' 2-1 defeat at the weekend to Burnley all but sealed relegation. Doyle, 29, has 9 league goals in 40 appearances this term and would command a fee in excess of £1m.
    Brian Mcdermott is also said to be keen on heavily linked Bristol City forward Jon Stead.

    Currently playing his football at Bristol City who are sitting at the bottom of the Championship. Stead has been one of the only stand-out performers, but the owners are looking for a big clear out and want Stead off the wage bill. He may demand quite a bit of money but there's no doubt he can provide the goals to match. Micky Adams is said to be a long term admirer of Stead, since his Blackburn days.

    I have family on the board and these stories are straight from their mouths.
