In case that we have Ki,Hoilett For me, Green Onuoha Ferdinand Hill Fabio Ki Faurlin(Diakite) Park Taarabt Hoilett Cisse(Bellami) Best for me 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1 But i guess MH will use 4-4-2 with Park in CM. but Park is better winger than CM. i hope MH will use my formation what's your formation guys??
Hughes is a 442 man through and through but hes buying players for a 4231/451 so I have no clue what he will do.
I can see us playing 451 whatever happens with Hoilett/Ki. Simply because we have rarely seen Faurlin/Diakite in a two man partnership. Both players playing styles need an enforcer. Diakite's forward runs need to be tracked and Faurlin needs help to ping it about. I can envision us playing a Man City-esque system with Diakite being pushed behind the frontman in the Yaya-role if required and Faurlin-Derry/Ki sitting back.
For sure I can see no way in which Diakite is not part of the starting line up. Faurlin we know and love but he has yet to prove himself to Hughes.

To be honest, we've got some tasty players now and I have no idea what formation to put them in. But this is no problem at all because we will need all of them over the course of the whole season. Alas, it will be a tricky puzzle for MH to decide the starting 11 on day one.
Cisse played wide left at times last season if I remember correctly. I think it will be predominantly 451 but that's not to say we won't go 442 at times. This is where Cisse/AJ come in.
All starting to look tasty with the likes of Barton, Mackie, Zamora, Derry, Traore and SWP on the bench. Who'd a thunk it 18 months ago eh?
Tbh its 4-4-2 without accomodating adel, with Adel in the team then the headaches start, can you play adel and two front men ? Away from home probably not. ~I think we will see the formation change regularly, horses for courses. Good thing is we will have strength in depth.
I think we'll play 4-4-2 against weaker teams and at home, and revert to the 4-2-3-1 away. Who knows, but it's sure going to be fun to watch.
I am not sure if we can play Taarabt in a 4-4-2 formation unless he plays out wider I think Taarabt will start the season in more of a 4-4-1-1 formation with Zamora up front which will mean our most natural goalscorer in Cisse will start on the bench
He has but didnt like it and scored 1 goal all season for Lazio IIRC, contract that with 6 in 8 up front for us.
You cant leave our best finisher on the bench for Taarabt, Taarabt has to be played LW but Id like to see Traore there but hed probably go to LB due to us not having another one.
