West brom I would love to have some of the excitement saints, wh and reading fans must be feeling, can't help feeling a little underwhelmed this year
We don't fare well at home on opening day, Colchester in league 1, Watford in Championship! At least we drew away at Wigan!

Jeepers between September 22nd and October 27th we play: Newcastle; then Liverpool; then Chelsea; then Arsenal; before facing Aston Villa away...
Last six games for those interested are: Arsenal away Reading home Stoke away Villa home West Brom home Manchester City away A better run in than last year I'd say, but clearly we need to be safe before the last game!
Rob: based on our overall performance against those teams last season, there's a few points in there. If we finish that run of games with a flourish, at Villa Park on my birthday, I'll be well pleased.
fulham will be tough, but we could get something out of that as they are slow starters usually i bet the QPR fans are wetting themselves over the second fixture
Overall; because of the way we played last season, I'm looking at this fixtures list without any real concern. Remember how we felt about Spurs and Arsenal away this time last year? Can't wait!
Everything looks tough, but then the vast majority of teams will be saying the same thing. it certainly doesn't feel any less of an event being the second season, I've got goosebumps.
i hope we don't need a win to cement our champions league place on the final day... seriously though, pretty happy with those. disappointed to be away first game, last day and new years day though!!

Can't make the first game of the season as I'm away with the family so I'm quite happy it's only Fulham away that I'm missing.
