Someone once said there are lies, damned lies, and statistics. A great deal of effort and custard creams went in to that thread by jgf but the simple fact is that if we don't start winning more points, preferably 3 per game, then we are doomed. The next 2 home games are probably the most critical in our recent history and by my definition if we fail to pick up 6 points, or a minimum of 4 points, from these games and the others down there with us pick up more points than us then we will face next season in League One. Every game where we fail to pick up any points is another nail in the coffin and when you are running out of matches that scenario gets even worse. There will be many defining moments in the next few months and the next week until the postponed fixture is over is the key one. Simple as this - no points - almost no hope.

Sorry I think you are over optimistic in who you say we should be beating at home and drawing away Cardiff, Forest, Watford, Leeds this does not take into account how the other teams are playing you might just as well say we should be beating and drawing with teams like Man Utd Man City Arsenal Chelsea based on the fact that some years back we did do that.
