annoyed about the timing of some away games - rotherham, exeter and torquey all on a tuesday night. also surprised to see the season end in april this year, would love to know the reason for this.
Just a hunch about the season ending early but this is purely me having a guess. Its less likely to be really for us more premiership and championship but I think it is probably for players to have an extended break as they have had a full season in 2011/12, followed by Euros then Olympics and straight into 2012/13 season. If there wasn't to be a prolonged break then 2013/14 would start to then be followed by the World Cup straight away!
barnet away on a saturday ,that must be a first,it will be like another home game.pissed off with the west country games none of them at summer times of the year.
A potentially tough opening game for you guys, away to a newly promoted side that are likely to still have their confidence. Good luck for that one, and the remainder of the season I certainly agree with the comments about midweek fixtures away in deepest south west England, not thought what so ever for fans of the away side. In years gone by I have had to make rotten journeys from Norfolk to the north east and north west for Tuesday night games, makes for a bloody 2 long days.
really annoyed to see that all of our west country games are on Tuesdays - means im going on my own or with Exeter fans oh well, ill take another 3-1 win! COYB!!!
Back in the saddle tomorrow 1st game for 4 long months best get the voice warmed up Chairboys Barmy army
