So Is nobody on here to discuss the 2nd Grand Slam? Its day 3 and Murray has just beaten Eric Prodon 6-4 6-1 6-3. What do you think his chances are this year. Clay isnt his best but a pick up is needed in his form.

Who do you guys reacon is the favourite to win?

I watched the Murray game and, while he breezed through this game, I can't see him winning the tournament.

Federer seems to be in decline, so it looks like it's going to be between Djokovic and Nadal. Nadal really struggled today, while Djokovic is on a winning streak. If I was a betting man, I'd go for Djokovic.

    favourite to win?

Nadal usually does well at Roland Garros, but it's hard to look past Djoko with his incredible form.

Novak Djokovic to beat Rafa in the final

Murray was far from impressive again today.

I still think you write off Federer at your peril. He's not been playing badly this year. Although the way Djokovic is playing he has to be favourite.

You would have to go for Djoko seeing as it seems nobody can beat him on any surface at the moment. I can not wait to see how he fares at Wimbledon mind :) That said, Andy Murray is going to win a Major one day so why not win this one. He is still in the competition and has a chance. He carries our nations flag singelhandedly and I wish him all the best.

Viktor Troicki is a cock - can't beleive how much of a big deal he made when that poor kid ran in front of him (ball boy) Looked like he was going to cry - poor kid. Should have just shaken his hand and got on with it..

I got some money on FedEx to win v Djokovic at 5/2, and a sneaky little bet on Murray at 4/1 to beat Nadal, can't stand Murray usually but at those odds he worth a punt if I can put aside personal dislike!

I can only see a Nadal - Djokovic final. It also looks like the trophy has been named for Djoko, if Nadal's performances in the early rounds are to go by. But I'm still hoping Federer puts on a stunning performance and shows us fans that he's no push-over on clay. He's had solid performances so far except for his quarters against Monfils. Although they both suffered due to gusty conditions. Somehow there's the feeling that the 17th grand slam is achievable in Roland Garros.

The Federer - Djokovic semi is gonna be an epic. Fed is playing back to level that we know he can and Djoko is in the form of his life. There's no doubt the momentum lies with the Serb but I still feel if Federer produces his A game he will win. However, if he's anything below that, then I fancy Djockovic.

Yeah I never knew the BNP were using the French Open for subliminal advertising! Murray having his usual outclassed by Federer/Djokovic/Nadal petulant performance, glad I didn't have too much money on him, hopefully Fedex gets off to a stormer v Djokovic and can hedge my money there.

Nadal is too good for Murray on clay.

Federer vs Djokovic now, should be a classic.

    Happy Birthday Rafael Nadal!

    - Beat's Murray and get's to the final
    - His biggest threat is out of the competition
    - Djokovic's dismissal means that he holds on to his No.1 ranking!

That was a quality match today between Federer and Djokovic. Some great tennis, and the best man won it. Nadal is a great player, as always - but to be honest he won't stand a chance against Federer unless he rapidly improves his game.

So who will win the French Open?

What's wrong with this board? We've had 2 really big matches today and there's only been the one post on tennis excluding mine.

Got to be Nadal on clay but Federer will be pumped after beating Djokovic so who knows, going to be a classic match, makes up for no F1 this weekend!
