I have no idea how the FA work out the fixtures for the championship, it´s just pure ridiculous. We must play 13 games in the months of March & April which is more than 1/4 of the season & when you think that Dec, Jan & Feb will more than likely be hit by the bad weather, there will be P-P games to fit in too, then there may be some cup games for some of the NPOWER teams.

We really do need to restructure the whole of the English/Welsh football leagues, we just have far to many teams in the NPOWER, lge 1 & lge 2. Living in Germany, although the quality is not better in my opinion, they have a really good set up with 3 professional leagues & with a winter break. But the thing is their fixtures run like clock work for i.e the premiership play 34 times, the team you play on game day 1, as it´s called here, is the team you then play on game day 18 & so on.

I think it´s time we had a premiership div 1 & 2 so that way we can make the premiership a 16 team lge, premiership 2 a 20 team lge & then the NPOWER will be cut down as would lge 1, 2 & the non-lges. We would´nt have this mad fixture pile up at the end of the season, did anyone follow Crawley Towns fixture pile at the end of last season ? good that they had more than enough points in the bag as to not effect their promotion & to add to that FIFA want to add another 4 or 5 international friendlies aswell.

I hope the FA have plans for this.

    I LOVE the winter period!

Yes it's annoying when games are postponed but generally ours manage to go ahead anyway.

When a game finishes on that Sat I love having a mid-week match to look forward to.

The players are paid enough to cram all these games in.

I don't see the point of having two Premierships, i just don't get it.

I'm with Joe - I just don't buy all this - <cry> the players are tired <cry> they can't play two games a week <cry>

Bollocks - These are athletes that should be in peak physical condition - When I was their age I'd happily run like mad for 90 minutes twice a week and spend most nights on the lash and days on a building site.

And don't give me mentally tired - Grow a pair you bunch of overpaid over-worshiped ****s - Now get on with it

Stop sitting on the fence Danger ! But have to agree. Used to love some of the football played on ice, snow or mud. Playing 3 times in 8 days shouldnt be a problem providing fitness is right.

Yeh I agree with replies. We in England are always going on about how the remiership is the best league in the World and the Championship is the best second tier in the world. So why change it? I love the winter period and players need to man up.

Every article back2back posted was all the same petty boring stuff. We need a better WUM then him, cant remember who said but they said they wanted it moderated so i got rid of it. If wums come on here the minimum requirement from them is that they are either funny, witty, or have a point.

Not my call mate - I agree with your point about him being a bit of a one trick pony (dog) and the more he posts on here the bigger twat he makes of himself - I've always thought you should let people be seen for the fool that they are though
