Got thinking about this the other day with one of my united mates and we came to the conclusion that Spurs fans never had it so good during Harry's reign. They were destroying Italians at the at the San Siro and playing some of the Best football I've ever seen them play. Getting into the champions league and doing well was testament to the quality of football they were playing. Will they ever see another era like Harry's or will they drift back to top mid position warriors? Just one more thing..... During these glory years they endured we never finished below them.
Don't really think they have the infrastructure to become a top team. They are in essence a midtable Premier League team that do well in the cups. It would have been nice to have a 3rd London club competing for honours but I can't see it. The better players they produce/nurture will always want to test themselves at the big clubs. They remind me almost of West Ham in the late 80s/90s
They keep going on about our 7 trophyless seasons but how many years was it between them winning the carling and the one before that?

And in those 9 years we won the Premier league twice, once at your sh .it hole, won the FA cup 3 times, FA community shield 3 times, are you that proud of your carling cup victory? Like I said we were truly **** from 96 - 2005 so bet your ass I enjoyed us winning the Carling Cup...being as **** as we were really makes you appreciate not being so ****...and I got to take my kids (they were 10 and 5 then) to have their photo taken with the cup...I think football is about trophies rather than 4th place...but then I'm a grumpy ol git.... and a bitch

When we have a strong squad we win trophy's and proved we could go a whole season unbeaten, when you have a strong squad what the fu. ck have you proven other than failing to finish above us for 15 years in a row.
