With the 150 northern contingent that attend the away Northern games

Could see 400 being there on Saturday

Although some City fans could find Blackpool enticing for the weekend

    instead of the football

distance from Blackpool to Carlisle 100 miles with a journey time of approx 1 hour and forty minutes

See all you hoardes there on Saturday

Paid £86 on the train. Robbing bastards. Small group of us chatting last night in pub to others also on the chuff, and realised we could have got together and hired a coach cheaper.

I've done this away game before, very peculiar stadium. Not sure if the away fans sit in the same place as when I went. I seemed to be in a seat sat facing other fans, rather than the pitch and had to look diagonally to me left to look as close at the corner flag.

Was 2007, just got back from Australia and traveled up with 2 uni mates. We won though, so was worth it.

Fair play to them all, especially with the recent weather and the cost of travel.

Have been as far NW as Blackpool with City where we got dicked 5-1 in the Tony Thorpe days. Miserable journey home and a **** hole of a town<laugh>

    In the van.

Last trip to Carlisle [2-1?] we headed back to Chippenham to drop a mate off and crashed at Yatton Keynell. 600 miles and the driver fell asleep. Woke up seeing cows frantically storming across a field terrified by the steaming car stuck in the wall surrounding their domain.

    Nailed on 100% win ..

Yep - big respect to those who are making the journey. Not so bad if you're making a weekender of it but Carlisle is October?? Probably not. Hope you boys travel safe and we get a much needed result. I would personally pay for the train....that far on a coach sounds like zero fun.

I'd like to nail my little red robin flag to the pole of those making the journey, a long way, expensive, committed and must have lots of stamina, well done all of you, I hope we get a victory..

    Put yer left arm in
    Yer right arm out
In out, in out, wave them all about
You ask a stupid question and you wave your arms,
    That's what its all about

    Oooh Sean O'Driscoll/Oooh Stupid question...

Not perfect, but the second half performance was a stormer playing football incisively with pace.

That's the word that has been missing all season PACE. Use it, as have the opposition used it against us with sitting back and breaking out at pace, Shrewsbury showed us they soaked up the pressure and bang they hit us at pace and scored.

When Carlise had to chase the game, open it out further City slowed it down, then ping. Shrewsbury match was very different proposition they were "attacking" without committing numbers forward and leaving space to exploit. Carlisle went gung ho that lead to passing cutting out one or two players instead of playing flat across them.

And OOOOHHH STUPID QUESTION, OOOOHH STUPID QUESTION.

    Not really.

Train - Cats or West street/Shem tours [BS4] there is a world of difference. West street/Shem tours every time if going. Yesterday Briz v Welling, Iron Mould lanes clubs house benefitted from that BS3/4 patronage.

    Was at the Briz gig.

The bar coaching and tactics panel had dropped Mr J E Thomas and Wagstaff ... Dumb beasts

All it needed was Flint to come on as sub and score with an excocet diving header to make Mr Blackthorn and co even wronger.
