I know he's not really a striker, but I fancy a cheeky wager on Nathan Redmond to be certainly in the upper teens by the end of the season!!! Admittedly his goal against Palace was a tad fortunate, but he's getting more of his shots on target now and he's certainly enjoying his football under the tutelage of AN , so time will tell.
He's taken a while but he's started to really find the back of the net. He's been playing like this for the England U21s for a while but it's good to see in the league. There's part of me that doesn't want him to have the awesome season that your talking about as it will make it harder for us to hold on to him for one more season. He's going to play for one of the big clubs one day I just hope it's not too soon and that we get a vast wadge of cash for him.
A mate of mine's Mum knows Nathan's Mum and she was saying that he's really enjoying living and playing in Norwich, so I hope we do get at least one more season from him, before his agent tries to 'persuade' him to move on!!
I just wish he would rein it in.....until September 1st, when this poxy window closes. Too many more goals / good performances before then and we may struggle to hang on to him for the rest of this season
Tbh if Sterling is worth £49 million, Redmond has to be worth about £25 million or perhaps more. I genuinely think he will become a world class player.
Depends who were selling too, Liverpool might well give us £40m. I doubt we'll loose him this season last time in the PL he struged to make an consistent impact. He's already doubled his goal tally from that season. Part of this was playing on the left. He now plays predominantly on the right but will swap sides and move into the middle too. His decision making under Alex Neil has improved dramatically, he's always been talented but he's using it right now.
We all saw potential in Redmond and said he will improve and that's what he's done and still doing. He has came a long way since the last time he played in the PL and with AN he seems to be thriving and heading in the right direction. Surprised Liverpool haven't came knocking, but glad they haven't.
More praise for NR from Gary Gower - http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...eason-and-a-content-gaffer-whats-not-to-like/
This certainly doesn't help either - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...with_norwich_city_insists_alex_neil_1_4198029. Though as AN says, he is at the right club to develop his skills, something which I'm not sure he would get if he were to move to Liverpool etc.
