20 games played and in 12th position

,and even if Bolton win their game in hand,we would be 7 pts ahead of the bottom 3.Thats a nice little gap at the beginning of the year.Yes we have the second half to come,but now i think having played all the teams,Br and the lads should not fear any team.Obviously there are a few teams that we will not beat on paper,but i think it is looking very good for the rest of the season.I didnt think before the start of the season,that by the New Year,we would be +7pts from the bottom 3.Thoughts .....

 

we're doing a lot better than most thought we would(me included), and there's still more to come from them i think.

 

The positive note from me is that we are a much better team now than we were a few months ago..

Twice as many points as Derby's ( famous ) season & only half the season played

 

SWANSMAN.is it we are better bcos of the last few days,we have or BR has changed his first 11,and now we have started to get positive results that we are better.I think we know we are an OK team.( ok i mean average team,i dont speak out of term) from the last few months,but as i said ,now that we have played all the premiere teams,things and confidence will improve bcos it is 11-11 and we play as a team and we have not got the superstars that people around the world will know by name.

 

Its a case not of being dependent on two or three players but its that the whole squad seems to have adapted to the Premiership. Agreed that some have taken longer to adapt than others but they have all stepped up. Who at the start of the season would a) have predicted BR being able to make so many changes for the Xmas games and b) having the confidence that the line ups would get the results. Full credit to BR and to the whole squad. We just need to have 1 or 2 new faces to bolster us up for the run in. Compare that with QPR who are probably going to splash the cash now more in desperation.

 

well said guys after the patient improving in the first half of the season the team seems to have clicked at just the right time . im sure we will slay a giant soon !!!

I said before the start of the season, that we would stay up, and finish around 14th position, we are well on track for that, though the tough end of the season will soon be upon us, but I'm sure we'll prove all the pundits and critics wrong, as we usually do, but we can't be complacent, and we will need to keep hold of all our best players, to succeed!......................
