I see the bookies dont fancy our chances for next season either, the best odds I can find are 20/1 to win the league. From memory we were short as 8/1 last season. No odds for relegation yet!!
Just checked the relegation odds. The bookies only consider the following teams to be "safer" than us: Oxford Bristol Rovers Shrewsbury Swindon Crawley
This year, if we are not favourites for promotion like we were last year, then perhaps some of the pressure may be off us this year to perform well. Who knows, we may be this year's dark horses or is this just wishful thinking?
I would imagine the likes of Macclesfield, Barnet and Cheltenham etc. I think Cheltenham will struggle after losing Wes Thomas who scored a fair few last season and they had a shocking end to the season.
As I've only seen us win the league once in my years supporting Gills 20/1 sounds like a good bet (but only for the bookies)
