We could have a 2 year wait for a decision and it could still be a great big resounding NO...

What can you do..? it's farcical, that land will still be there, hardly used, useless,it's bloody criminal.

    Will Steve Lansdown persevere..?
Will he have the patience and let his investments devalue..?
Will Bristol miss out on the opportunities private finance will offer to modernise, create jobs, increase leisure, tourism and increased tax revenue for local government..?
Will Bristol City Football Club and it's supporters be deprived of a 21st century facility after all the efforts made to compromise..?

All of this waste of time and money ( Bristol City council has so far spent £123.000.00 plus of ratepayers money on legal charges) has been created by a bunch of nimbys, green fascists, libby, libby politicians with no civic care, legal blood suckers earning an easy buck, 95% of these people don't live in the area, have no love or loyalties for Bristol and are just interested in pushing their own agendas.

2 years to wait for a possible NO, it's a travesty....

Totally agree wize and it just boggles my mind that the lawyers continue to find reasons (extra fees actually) to continue this debacle.

Most of the comments on Brighton's new Amex Stadium were very positive, and the benefits to the local population are there for all to see. Just makes me wonder how in touch the city council are with the future well being of the populus - clearly not at all!

How much is this costing the NIMBYS (if anything?) and have they actually got money of their own aside from what Chief NIMBY Ferguson has said he'll contribute ?

Or is all of this latest farce and delaying tactics to be funded by the council ?

When we actually build the thing I would like to suggest an additional feature to be added to the wall facing the lesser spotted Nimby population - a huge hand with large middle finger raised in salute

Great idea. I'd also like to see a list of the names of the objectors so that everyone can laugh at them...........

Problem is BCC is a Liberal led council. Subsequently no-one in Government is going to kick ass and progress the situation as the Tory Government did with the Spine road
