I was reading the report on our O/S about our U21 match at Charlton tonight, when I read the team players I noticed they had 2 trialists playing.
City: Carey; Battersby, Jones, Batten, King (Trialist 46); Burns (John 80), Dobie, Trialist (Kline 70), Hall; Reid, Oluwatobi. Subs not used: Clayton, Joseph.

Anybody have any news on their identity......?

Well, King was a red herring because it was in fact The Queen.
Her Majesty will be appearing as the first of 2 new center backs, adding bollox to the spine of our defence.
Dobie however seems a little short for the role, being as he is a house elf.

A little old lady and a house elf, should be a massive improvement on our present non-existent pile of dust and ashes such as our dreams have been reduced to

    Hey nice one

If we had the queen playing as long as we could get the ball to her we would score as the Tannoy would THEN play the national anthem AND ALL WOULD STAND still, or would bow to allow her pass, (but not the ball)....lol

Nice serious thread Wizered. Shame you got only nonsense in reply.
Obviously no-one seems to have a clue. But I would expect the trialists to be between 17 and 19 years, who have been released by other clubs.

    Totally Wiz
I pride myself in upholding and maintaining the general level of human stupidity for us all
(or am I just a reflection of the stupidity coming from somewhere else ? Even I don't know the answer to that one)
