Number 1 - Why is Hessy so reluctant to bring Rooney on? Hessy needs to bring him on earlier, when Oli got the call to go on first instead of Rooney, you could see how upset rooney was. And like always when Rooney came on he changed the game. Number 2- I've never seen Gary Richards play that bad.
OK mate, Shame we didn't get the win, Could not stand us ****ing it up now mate, We done so much **** in the first 20 games we need to be ruthless now, If we had been great in the first 20 games we would not be to upset by a few draws here and there, If we had at least won around 3 more at the start of the season we would be amazing mate but this is Gillingham we are talking about who always do it the hard way.
Two things? 1. Hereford came to kill the game! Wasting time where ever possible right from the off - then it just turned in to hoof ball. Lawrence was MOM so said it all about the game really, because Hereford never looked a real threat, we just failed to play our game. However maybe that is a side compliment to Hereford, because they came away from Priestfield with job done. 2. The referee and that piece of turf? Ok - does any one know what the rules state on this one? J Payne likes to take his usual run up to the long throw in to the box - at the RE back to the Medway Stand, steps back into the chained exit between the hoardings. The ref states he has to stay on the grass. Don't know what the rules are on that one but I have a solution - lay a piece of turf there
Judging by Hereford's position relative to you, you must be disappointed, but you never know how important a draw can be. Not losing can be a good habit to get. Sorry, have to go back to Saints board...we're rocking. Good luck in your next game.
Hereford came to spoil the game and seem to have been quite successful, Cody only has one eye left and just 7 days to get over it. We didn't play well but give credit to Hereford their plan to stop us playing football worked. A poor day at the office, roll on next week. I did warn people not to underestimate them.
Yeah mate, we do underestimate people quiet often I admit and I am one of them people who does this mate.
grumpy - you warned everyone about Hereford and their away record, even something that I overlooked, which ain't good for a dodgy bookie
Whilst we are relating to today's game, what is the rules on the referees point with Jack Payne? He goes to take a long throw, in to Hereford's box at the RE - Payne had his back to the Medway stand and stepped back up to the hoardings, he stepped in to the gap (chained exit area) just off the grass - the ref stated (several times during the game) Payne has to be actually standing on the grass, to take the throw?
oh dear gills fans are not happy, but i did warn you about hereford we have had 2 tough games against them this season one in the league and one in the cup and they looked a decent side on both occasions and we have got them away on tuesday night
