Why no-one on post for goal? What the hell do you do all week?

I think Joey said on TV yesterday that we were man-for-man as opposed to zonal so there was no-one marking the posts...

 

Surely, a man on each post is insurance even when man to man marking. They did it and cleared it off the line. We didn't and lost the game.

 

My point, entirely. It wasn't a particularly good header and anyone on post could have thrown their hat on it (if that's allowed)!

Better teams than Hull will being taking advantage.

It was an excellent header. Have a look at how he had to bend himself to get power on it.

True. If you had said it wasn't particularly powerful I would have agreed but I thought it was a good header.

 

Two people on the posts means two less to man mark, depends on how many players the other team are committing forward. The players know where they are supposed to be to defend a corner based in how the other team is taking it, HR isn't allowed to stand behind the goal shouting and pointing to where each player should stand!!

 

And how do you know that we haven't had loads of players turn us down that the media dont know about. So they have had to rethink on targets.

 

I agree you if you mean Arry should take his pension. For many more reasons than the 2 issues you highlight.
