Cardiff City Football Club can today confirm that Ronnie Hawkins and Luke Coulson have both signed professional terms with the club, adding to Kevin Cooperâs development squad ranks. Following his release from Tottenham Hotspur, Ronnie joins the club on an initial three month contract with an option for this to be extended if all parties are happy. Ronnie is a left footed play-making central midfielder and will be involved in the Under 21 game away at Brighton on Monday. Also potentially available for selection on Monday, former Manchester City Academy product and full back Luke has signed a contract until the end of the 2012/13 season and will aim to continue on from what was a solid development squad debut against Millwall this week. We welcome both to Cardiff City. The hard work starts now.
Good spot DJ. Knew we were looking at Coulson and had some red tape to sort with Mansaray but hadn't heard of Hawkins. Together with the new appointment for academy manager, things are looking good in that area of the club.
