Newcastle's top ten BPL goals (according to The Premier League, that is) http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2015-16/nov/241115-top-10-newcastle-united-goals.html
Not sure I agree these are the best 10. Some are, some aren't. But I'm sure Gouffran and Rivierre do that every day in training. Excuse me a moment.. Coming doctor...
Sorry im not gonna watch that. Alberts goal (man u?) On there. In fact was it even against man u? Just remember him scoring a corker. Cant remember Ketsbia goal just remember the loon going mental. Gotta be the best celebration.
They are still looking for Ketsbaia's boot in the stand. The loon hoyed all his gear in and then realised the game was still on... hahahahha. He was a real nut job.
A character. Something that is in decline in the game now. Where are the Ketsbias, where are the Bests etc in todays game?
Sadly none existent mate. It's all about surpressing natural flair and character to deliver a perfectly packaged player at the altar of the modern game.
But every sport has always had their characters or bad boys some would call them. Ffs even a boring game like snooker had Higgins. F1 had Hunt. Tennis had McEnroe, football Best and otherd. Its what people want to watch. Even darts was watchable, pissed up fattys flinging their arrows.
Have you ever watched power snooker. The crowds go ( and encouraged to) mental. The players seem to love it.
No but anything involving the word power sounds fantastic. Do you have to beat your opponent to death with a stick? Explain please
I get really depressed every time I see that Ben Arfa goal against Bolton, as it just shows what we could have had if his attitude had been right. How we could use the 'good' Ben Arfa now. It's a pity we only ever saw flashes of it.
Never in doubt. He's showing it now. Just wish he could have grown up a couple of years earlier than he seems to have now done.
That goal against Bolton was the day I think my daughter fell in love with the Toon. She jumped off her seat when he popped that in. HBA was and is a luxury player and would fit into a bigger squad. Unfortunately ourselves and Hull found out that neither could really carry a temperamental luxury. He's scoring for fun now but in a poorer league so good luck to him. I give it a year before he pisses off his current paymasters....
It was something special wasn't it? There was a classic bit of radio commentary to that goal doing the rounds at one point - almost as good as the Tiote v Arsenal goal. I lost count of how many times I played that back. I was like a kid at Christmas!!
