Telephoned to book Swindon tickets even at 1-00pm still no return call Decided to drive to ground at 10-20am the que that greeted me was from the shop back down to the Williams stand.took 2.5 hours to get tickets. Two people serving in shop,then they opened two more in Williams stand,even then it was go slow. I cannot believe they did not anticipate large ques for this crazy really. Still cannot see the 2800 tickets lasting long.
Your a lucky so and so,i could not even get in que on the phone,one guy down at the gate said he was number 60 odd,then gave up after waiting 50 minutes and went down to the gate. what time did you ring today,i still have not recieved after leaving a message at 10.10 this morning. Any other business would not get away with it
Piss up and brewery come to mind when mentioning the daily administration at Ashton Gate. Many years ago I showed up to buy a ticket and when I got there I was told I couldn't get in because I had no proof that I was a registered supporter, despite the fact that I pleaded insanity as I was visiting from Canada, and after much fuss I was finally admitted if you get my drift.

Yes 2.5 hours waiting in a que we got ours,guess what they never telephoned me today after leaving details this morning,i bet the answer machine was full to the brim and did not even get it. BLOODY JOKE is Ashton Gate admin
If you get trouble contact David Lloyd - he was brilliant when I couldn't get tickets for the Leeds home game 2 seasons ago. He basically sorted it. Mind you, I ended up watching a 4-0 thrashing
Got mine after about 30 - 45 minutes trying on the phone. You will have no chance getting them to call back if they are constantly taking calls you just get pushed down the line.

Got Arkle stand, about 12:30 I called, lots of busy dials but then got through. In fairness to handle that many calls they would either have to go automated like ticketmaster or employ an extra 20-30 people just for busy times. At the end of the day it's first come first served but it's better than the fiasco of last years automated rubbish. You've got more chance of springing a third bollock. If I was you I would try and get home end in the Arkle and keep quiet. I was asked by a Swindon fan if I wanted one, but I asked him if he thought I could keep quiet so he took away the offer then.
Seems big rumours of the red army infiltrating,apparantly swindon away hold 3200 we may get a few more,but even then it will not be enough. Were in the arkells always a good atmosphere in there.
