Wrong team, therefore wrong tactics he needs to buck his socks up or else we will be relegated and have to win promotion next season from Div1.

ALSO QUITE SURPRISED AT THE NUMBER OF EMPTY SEATS....DID PEOPLE STAY AWAY BECAUSE THE BEACH AT WESTON WAS SUNNY AND THE LAST CHANCE OF SUMMER SUN!!!

    GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS....

    BAD NEWS FIRST...
I WOULD SAY ON THE WHOLE WE WERE NOT IN THE GAME...

GOOD NEWS IS OTHER THAN LOSING BY 3 -4 -5 GOALS AT HOME IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER.

ok lets right off the next 3 games as defeats and a learning curve, have a weeks rest and Start DEMI'S SEASON FROM THE AWAY GAME AT MILLWALL.

We should only be about 9 points behind by then, and a run should get us in touch. Usually start my analysis November so MILLWALL IS A GOOD STARTING POINT....will we be relegated....watch this space after 15th november....last 4 seasons I have been on mark

he's only been here 3 days, doesn't know his best team yet, all this talk of relegation is nonsense in my opinion as there are 33 games still to play

The scatching his head bit might come sooner than later..OK we lost 1-0, same old chestnut kick in the bollocks for lack of concentration at the end....AGAIN 2-0

Going by the subs made I think he was ON THE START OF 3 GAMES need to find out who is good with what/who, Was SKUSE injured didnt see the last 5 mins of regular 45 mins if not looks like he is in the B TEAM!

    Adomah
    Kilkenny
    Cisse

    Clarkie

I looked straight at DM for a reaction when DJ spilled the ball and only a wonder tackle saved us going 1 down and also when he came galloping out of his goal and we got lucky - I suspect Mr James might be on borrowed time...

DEMI although having played in the championship is seeing conflicting quality of teams players...we have run of the mill ave npc Brum just come down from Prem expierienced..

Next 6 games arent on our side bit like last season end of Jan time when we had 7 away in 9 wasnt it...then got the run that took us to safety in 7 games

there is 11 teams a win away from top 6...

'Thought JCR was doing alright up to being subbed'

I give up with some on here - doubt if McInnes will EVER pick J-C-R again.
He won't ever play Nyatanga at LB again and McAllister will be 1st choice LB when fit. McGivern disappoints.

McInnes reckons Albert could play in any league but for all his great runs can anyone think of ONE decent final ball. No doubt though he is our ONLY threat.

McInnes has probably realised after one game what City have needed since last May.
Another Caulker, a dominant CM and LB.
You can add a new keeper to that list Derek.

Didn't manage to go yesterday Redprintt, but by the stats it was poor at best??
It will be interesting what he puts out next week, should have a better idea what the weeknesses are.....
All I can say is "Welcome Derek mate and good luck as I think you're gonna need it"" !!!!!

Completely agree Redprintt - I have to say I am a little concerned at the lack of quality in our squad at the moment.
I really don't know where the comments about us having a quality squad are coming from because at the moment I just can't see it.
Their number 11 was quality, his pace and crossing was a constant threat, something we don't seem to possess. The guy made Skuse look so out of his depth it was frightening.

As has been said best of luck Derek because your gonna need it !

Have to say I was surprised how McInnes set the team up. It could have been Millen.

Nyatanga out of position and a 'natural' LB McGivern on the bench.
Back to 2 wingers. He'll soon realise he can't play that way for 2 reasons.
    1. NK aint up to it unless we play an extra man (Cisse) in midfield.
    2. J-C-R is lightweight, small but most of all useless.

'best of luck Derek because your gonna need it !'

DM came out ran straight to the touchline was not about him , we lost but not playing bad just cant get the finish, i think DM will be good, James some bad mistakes but did save us too , skuse took a knock to the head and was struggling. And we wont be going down

1 for ...poor at best it was cr**

AS I have made points its amazing what others see in the same game or interpret differently............

DEMI has indeed a lot on his plate, but lets be fair Birmingham could prove to be the best team in the division...hope so with £200 @8/1 to finish in auto position, and another £200 at 14/1 to win by 5 clear points.

The next team (also different thread) he could play 4 or 5 changes...

just watched the highlights, seems we have 6-7 first team players and 4 players who are league 1 players. maybe just on the day but some playerd terrible

James- i forgot about him running out the box and missing it which almost led to a goal
stewart- gets out paced and if he has to turn hes ****ed
JCR very lightweight and like kilkenny will bottle out of tackles, which again cost us a goal in the long run
Stead- 2 chances one which he should of burried and the other which was just poor, players were in a better poition to shoot than he was

i think looking at those players some are very easy to replace if not all of them with our current squad

James to be replaced by gerken
Stewart to be replaced by wilson
JCR to be replaced by bolasie
and Stead to be replaced by Pitman

    starting XI for barnsley

    ***********Gerken

    Spence Fontaine (c) Wilson Nyatanga

    *******Elliott*****Cisse

    Adomah*****************Bolasie

    *****Maynard****Pitman

Also at the end of the game, Derek spotted Stewart having a moan at the ref he ran over pushed stewart to the tunnel shock the refs hands and give our players a pat on the back whilst shaking the hands of opponents

Top class bloke we have hear

shiny...I think NM needs to sit one out at least, have been saying it for a while, peeps on here have been digging about his lack of finishing without committing themselves to his less than averageness, by saying he doesnt run to the right posion or he does and the midfield dont supply...play 2 strikers without him..........

poor old LJ is not available for ostrication so now it seems peeps are needing a new whipping post and going for Kilko or JCR...

WE HAVE A TEAM...YES THATS A TEAMT E A M so lets give them all some support in our hour of need, and because I am saying NM needs a "rest" does not mean I am not behind him.......
