Anyone else getting the sense of deja-vu?
I predicted 3-1 the previous two PL games and 3-1 for this game!

Don't think we have been as good as we were against Pool / QPR (1st half) but we have still bossed possession and restricted Villa to just two half chances. Still, we have been excellent.

Lets just hope it continues this time around....

We were pretty comfortable without ever looking like we got out of first gear.
I'd like to see a professional second half and a clean sheet.
I'd gladly take any win, though.

    Completely echo my point.
We definitely cannot use "tiredness" as an excuse if we go into neutral (so to say) since we've hardly huffed or puffed. I'd be very disappointed to concede. ESPECIALLY if its the next goal. I just want a nice comfortable win without having my heart in my mouth!

Anyone else think that Ledley's skill against Agbonlahor was epic?

  6. Oh, hutton...

    penalty-conceder extraordinaire...

I think Ade read the blog on here about him, noticed that he wasn't scoring enough, and said...

    'AVE IT!!!!

1st half we played some excellent passing possession football. Probably our best half of the season in terms of quality. We're going more direct now and locking their defence at will.

    So good so far...

Why can't you just enjoy the fantastic football your team play without having a dig at the spl. Your team has probably spent more this season than all the spl teams have spent in the last five seasons. As a complete neutral I used to look forward to watching man utd for entertainment, now I prefer watching Spurs games , you play the game the way it is meant to be played

Cheers Harry, but there are two things that you've got wrong there.
Firstly, Lidls is a Man Utd fan.
Secondly, we actually made £20m in the transfer window this summer.

Thanks for the compliments about the team, though.
We're looking good at the moment.
Just hope that we can keep it up.

Excusing the (possible) oxymoron, we were excellent without actually being ruthless. Disappointed that Adebayor didn't score a hat-trick, or that Defoe didn't curl that left footer into the back of the net, but finally, a win where for the whole game I felt completely secure that we were never going to lose the points!

Great performance from Spurs. Very pleased with the result :)

We got a good fixture list coming up, lets keep the form going. Even Chelsea are going to fear coming to the Lane in a month's time. AVB better figure out how not to play a high line by then

Edit: Anybody else think that Kaboul played brilliantly? Working up a real partnership with Ledders. Quite surprising that its him and not Gallas or Dawson partnering King. (obviously they are injured, but wouldn't have expected it).

Lawro predicted a 2-0 I think but Adebayor should have scored more.

As PNP said, LDL's a Utd fan or atleast that's what he tells us!

Thanks for the compliments though, we're all very much enjoying ourselves at the moment.
