England will bowl India out cheaply under favourable conditions for swing. Twice.

Cook gone, can't help but feel India will win this down to a dodgy decision without DRS...

This will probably be a draw or India win. Sorry to England, but even without Sehwag India are just too good and I can't see them being bowled out cheaply - which I feel is the only way the first test match can be won.

If I had to predict a result, it would be a draw.

    Good luck to England though.

Well, say about England not being able to bowl India out, but the only way I can see India getting England all out is lots of poor shots without Zaheer, let alone twice.

With the weather making sure that there are unlikely to be five days of actual cricket and Lord’s being a good batting track in recent times, this one has draw written all over it.

With Zaheer out of the frame, it is difficult to see India bowling England out twice and the only way England will be able to get twenty wickets is if the ball is swinging for Anderson because Broad cannot bounce them out on current form and Tremlett is not consistent enough.

Dangerous Marsupial, I think you will find that Morgan has made a rick there.

My suspicion is that Morgan thinks that he has been given out leg before wicket, which is not reviewable in this series, so he has walked. In fact, he has been given out caught behind, which is reviewable as it would seem that Hot Spot shows the ball came off his pad.

England should get rid of the Irishman and draft in another South African...

Did anyone agree with the declaration? I would have carried on and effectively removed the possibility of an England defeat.

Great to hear Pietersen making his double hundred, never doubted him for a moment.

Nice to see Strauss trying to be positive but I dare say on a Lord's pitch you're not going to bowl out India twice very easily...

    Wow! Another great days cricket!

England will have to score REALLY quickly to leave enough time to win this game! If we can get 125 runs per session we can declare on a lead of about 450 at tea. That will leave us 4 sessions to bowl India out, including two extended evening sessions! Doesn't sound impossible!

Spineless batting, just like the England of old, and if we lose either Morgan or Prior soon I can't see us posting even 100, and I won't feel comfortable without a lead of 350 or more, so we need 160 odd runs would be nice...

One bad day and we're poor again.

Keep the faith, we can still win this.

Wow this is gonna be a tense finish! India will fancy they can hold on for a draw but I'm confident we can get 2 wickets in the morning; 3 in the afternoon and then 4 to tumble while we are all driving home from work?!?!

If anyone is scripting England's test matches in the last few summers I hope the sponsors are paying them well!

Tendulkar definatley out LBW, but can't be referred, this explains India's opposition to DRS and how they got to #1!
