Very lucky and very poor probably sums it up best, how we are not at least 3 down is purely Cardiff being very profligate in front of goal.

Defence - Looks fairly organised, but resorting to way too many long balls, Foster's distribution has been very poor tbh.

Midfield - No creativity at all, Marv is passing square or back which is putting undue pressure on the back four and Heaton which results in long hoofs upfield. We need Albert on as there is no outlet so far, Anderson has not had a sniff.

Strikes - Only one chance and it was a good one, Stead volleyed over from about 10 yards and should really have done better.

Cardiff are quicker and stronger in every department so far, in particular Noone is terrorising the defence.

I think Old Sparky was right, if we just try to hang in we will probably not hang on, we need to be more assertive and try to put them on the back foot. Easier said than done I realise, however we are inviting trouble in this formation.

Our ball retention has been non-existant so far.

Gives some idea of how much we miss Cunningham and Carey when they are injured and how desperate we are for better Central defenders.
