    Saw that we have 'had an offer accepted' for Jack Cork.

    I know some of you people might think its a load of non-sense, but i personally hope it happens because he is a great player who has played at premier league level and he has also played for us for a short period before.

    I mean Cork and Schneiderlin centre mid......Phwoorrrrr ;)

    The thing that all of them have in common is that they are all comfortable on the ball and if you are good enough, you are old enough. I could see Cork being a Saints captain if we manage to sign him. I think that midfield fits in perfectly with Nigel Adkins brand of passing football.

    I don't think it would be right to see Hammond in the team purley because he is the captain, he needs to be there on merit and i don't think he is good enough for a first team spot in the championship IMO, so i would back someone else to take the job so you raise a good point.

    IMO, trying not be biased, but that would be one of, if not THE best midfield in the Championship .
