I don't know if that's true but after our first two home games in the football league (both of which we lost) we didn't lose at home for another 49 league and cup games until 9th December 1893 when we lost 3-2 to Blackburn.

Actually, looking at it, apart from that Blackburn game, we appear not to have lost at home (all comps and friendlies) for well over 100 games.
