Expecting City to gain all 18 points available through March is unrealistic I know but if you look at the opposition then we must fancy our chances in all the matches. We all know there will be glitches along the way and hoping the others slip up doesn't come in to play because we live and die by our own efforts alone. If we come out of March with anything but all the points it doesn't allow us to gain the automatic spots, based on last year's final table where 86 points only got a playoff spot, but that position might be determined by what other teams do in the meantime despite the fact that I have said we shouldn't look at what they do with their lives. How nice it would be to show up at Wembley with some degree of certainty about our promotion aspirations but I believe we will need some good results, not only in March, but during a seemingly more difficult schedule in April. If there is ant criticism it is that we need to be more clinical and take advantage of the chances we create and tighten up in defence during the pressure times in the match. I think we got away with one vs Rochdale and need to be more forceful during the remainder of the season. League One next season should not be an option.
Remember Crewe and Colchester. They were nailed on certs. Despite our recent poor form there isn't a team in the league who wouldn't swop with our current position. Leyton Orient are a banana skin to me as they have some good players
COLCHESTER were less of a cert than Crewe, as I pointed before we played LO and Colchester they were just out of the loan window and tied up a few loose ends Colchester w2 l2 .... LO W3 L1 we haven't as you say had a decent result agains t LO for a while so lets hope next time !
