Looks like we will be getting our own little spring break following Man C winning last night. Newcastle United ’s Premier League fixture with Manchester City has been postponed after Manuel Pellegrini’s men qualified for the Capital One Cup final. With the League Cup final against Liverpool at Wembley scheduled for Sunday, February 28 - the same day as United were supposed to host Man City at St James’ Park - the Magpies’ clash with the Citizens will have to be rescheduled, though no date has yet been set. With the Man City game having been moved back until the end of the season, the Magpies now have just three matches in February - and they have a mere two 3pm kick-offs before April. In fact, the Magpies will have an 18-day gap without a fixture between February 13 and March 2 due to the fact they will not feature in the FA Cup fifth round after being knocked out earlier this month, and then due to the postponement of the Man City game. The Man City game will need to be rescheduled for some point later in the season, meaning United will have an additional midweek game to play before the campaign is out. Positive or Negative? Players are fresh physically and mentally. They'll probably have a nice little jaunt somewhere for some sunshine training. However we will likely fall behind as we'll be a game or two behind relegation rivals. And of course we will have a clutter of games to physically test us at some stage.
Maybe against Championship opposition, get used to it. I know Sunderland will be, but we need one we can win. Who is bottom?
I think We should end the RIP threads and have an RIP Thread to pay our repects to previous RIP threads
Few tweeks to make it slightly different (though admittedly it's no Coyote Canyon...!!); Typicaly you've got Villagers, Wolves, Wolfsbaner (protector) and Seer. Then could add a Fool in the Village who THINKS they're a Seer. Lucifer, who has the same ability as the Seer but is on the same side as the Wolves.
