Got to say after i walked out of our first home game defeat by bolton i thought we were relegation certs. If you had said to me we would be 17th with 7 to go i would have taken that there and then. I know we have a tough run in and we will drop more points but it does feel good that our destination is in our own hands. Hopefully by the time we play Citeh they will have nothing to play , also hopefully that can be said of chelsea. Stoke , West Brom and Swansea are all safeand in mid table , again not much to play for and all winnable. I believe we can pick up points from these games and 10 from 7 would keep us up i believe.

Its gonna be a rough ride but glad we are at this stage and still in with a fighting chance, and finding form at the right time.

What a f**k-up of a season it's been so far; it's a miracle we're in with a chance of surviving at all when you look at the knock-backs we've had since those 4 hit us in that first game.

At this stage it's either going to be heroic failure or glorious survival, too early to say....

We have a chance and that I guess is the main thing. However our run in is still the hardest by far and there is no guarantee 10 points will be enough. In fact I think 11 or 12 are needed looking at Balckburn and Boltons run in.

Sometimes when I'm reading, I have to remind myself to enjoy the unfolding story line - its not all about the conclusion, it's about enjoying getting there. Huge parallels with football. If we could end the season right now, and know we were safe, we'd probably all take it, but then what waves of emotion would we miss? This is one hell of a ride, I just pray there is a happy ending.

At least with our 2 recent wins it's put it back in our own hands. Obviously the Swansea, Stoke and West Brom games are games we have to target as a win, but the way we seem to play, we're more likely to lose those games and win against the big boys. But at least we're in with a fighting chance.

Saturday will have proved to some of our players that they can fight and compete with the very best, so hopefully they will continue on with that kind of form till the end of the season. If they do, then I'm confident we will stay up. How important could that goal from Adel be? After he scored you could see he turned back in to his old self from last season, playing with flare and taking the piss with his tricks.

I did say I'd be happy with 17th, and if we can achieve that then next season should be a whole different affair.

Quite honestly we only had 4 - 5 good games that I can think of (Newcastle at home, Arsenal both games, Wolves away and Man C) and many times I thought that we did not belong to the PL. Considering that we have a very different team from the start of the season, having been unfortunate several times and with the fantastic support we had so far I strongly believe that we deserve a second chance to do better next season. I guess we will beat Swansea and Stoke, draw against WBA and Spurs which will keep us in the PL.....

Its going to down to the wire, the only thing I can say is that it is not boring! Im a nervous wreck as I have always been supporting QPR. I thought after last season with the Faurlin affair that I would never be made to feel like that again. And what happens the next year? Exactly the same, sickening, nervous, excited feeling! Its never a dull day is it supporting the R's?!

How can anyone predict our results ? Of the seven remaining games, the most likely success is Stoke. Swansea are tought to break down and I don't think that anyone should underestimate the Baggies - they appear to be as unpredictable as us ! So that's the 3 "easy games" - anything from 4 - 9 points ! As for the other four - who knows ?

I'll go for 5 points against Stoke, Swansea and West Brom, and 3 against the big four. That's 8 points - 36 in total.

    Might just be enough.

My destination is definitely in my own hands as I ride a bike to work most days. As for my destiny however, your guess is as good as mine.

Looking at the fixtures to come the only sensible conclusion is that we're still going down. But I'm delighted to say that football in general and QPR in particular are entirely unpredictable.

17th with no games to go might be the time to start breathing normally. Until then we have 21 points to play for and we need the equivalent of 4 wins or combination of wins and draws to stand a chance of staying up.

If we reckon their are wins against Swansea, West Brom and Stoke to be had (although nothing is certain) then we still need to either beat one of, or draw with all of, Man Utd, Chelskum, Spuds and Citeh plus hope that Wigan stop winning, Wolves continue to self destruct and either one of Blackburn, Bolton or even Villa implode too. I've been saying for months that it is as much to do with the form of those around as it is down to us to try and get points on the board.

The pessimist in me says it is too much to ask and we'll be confirmed as down before the last game of the season altough the Arsenal game opened up a tiny chink in the doom laden clouds.

This is one "Best Of Season" DVD I won't be buying!

I'm of the opinion that it's going to be a question of who implodes during this run-in. If we can just pick up a win here and there and end up near 36 points, i think we'll survive because you can be sure that one or other of the others around us will implode and go on a losing run. I know there's been no sign of it yet (except Wolves) but we're all down the bottom for a reason and we won't all be able to sustain these recent good results through to the end - so it's a question of who can hold their nerve and who simply can't win, for love or money. Just praying it's not us....

Squeaky bum time for sure!. 36 points will not be enough and I doubt very much whether Villa wil be dragged down. They only need a few points!. Bar a miracle on sunday,we could be second from bottom on sunday avo and our goal difference in pieces. Just hope that doesnt undo the recent success. Really cruel game!.Lets see what happens

I reckon 36 will be fine for you. Wolves won't run it close and can you see two of Wigan/Bolton/Blackburn getting 9 more points? Bolton were the worst team I have seen at Carrow Road this season and I will be amazed if they win another game even with the Muamba factor. Wigan do not have a goalscorer and so will struggle to win games and I don't see draws being good enough at this point. I reckon Blackburrn have enough quality to get what they need and so if you can do better than Wigan/Bolton you'll be OK (hopefully for us to take another 6 points next season!!). I was nervous when we had 36 poins a couple of weeks ago but since we rolled Wolves over (and we were pretty poor that day) and have 39 I just can't see us struggling.

I would be a little bit nervous if I were a Villa fan - all of you guys at the bottom have started to find some form and they have lost their captain for the rest of thes season (and they are managed by McCleish!)

Me thinks 35, look at the games the other teams in trouble have. 35Pts with a good GD will be enough. Win our 3 home games and we will easily stay up.
