Hate to say it but I think Defoe's most likely destination would be either QPR or Reading. Get North of Watford and he'll get a nosebleed.

It's a shame to say it, but Defoe has seen what happens to England players when they come up here, like I said it's a shame, Sunderland & Defoe would be good for each other.
Shame... After all these random names that keep getting hoyed about that iv'e never heard off, here are two that i do recognise and both would vastly improve the team..... One day, just one day, one of these rumours will become true.....and either of these two would do.
I whould still like on more striker in.... maybe abit of a gamble from abroud or somthing... but defoe is known for injurys and so one more whould be nice
FFS some on here think everyone is in some way a friggen liability (age, injury prone, not keen on up north etc etc). Wake up guys - We're not a top 10 club yet Trust in MoN to spend what money he gets wisely in the best possible way & if that means getting what some think is a has been/never was then so be it. One day we'll be able to attract better & keep them.
Mandy and Fletcher could be the next Quinn and Philips. I have a feeling they would come at far to high a price for us and the mag haters would never accept Mandy in our team.
Think Carroll is well beyond us but as Vegas said. Him and Fletcher upfront could be a fantastic strikeforce.
Too high up here for Defoe, little **** would have nose bleeds, Also Flash would probably wait in the shadows to kick his head in.
