It was an excellent team but that is nonsense. Bayern dominated the final.

 

They had more possession but did nothing with it.

The fact we had both our centre mids missing and both our wingers playing out of position as a result is the reason we weren't brilliant on the night.

Don't forget Milan had a MUCH better side than Liverpool and were 3-0 up at half time. Takes something special to do that and whatever people think about Liverpool they deserve credit for it. Not discounting United's achievement in 99 as that was also special too.
