v Carlisle 17th on 30 pts at Home
v Coventry 11th on 34 points (reality is 8th on 44 points ) at Home
v Oldham 16 TH on 30 points away
    v L Orient 2nd on 60 points away
v Tranmere 18th on 28 points at Home

Come our game on 22nd the table, weather permitting will give a better reflection as some of the in hand games catch up.

If we are any good, that is will survive 8 points from the 15 is the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM, I know to some peeps it doesn't matter where the points come from but it does.
so we beat Orient we beat Coventry and draw with Oldham and Carlisle NOT GOOD AT ALL, as we have to rely even more on other teams doing worse than us.
Ideally we lose to ORIENT, beat Carlisle and Tranmere, draw Coventry and Oldham we will then be on 32 points.. from 32 games.

Oldham are also Away to Swindon and MK Dons .... plyd 31games my guess Oldham on 32 points
Carlisle Home to Gills Brad Away and Coventry Away ... plyd 31 games my guess Carlisle on 35 points
Tranmere Away to MK Dons Home to PNE and Away to Crawley ... plyd 32 games my guess Tranmere on 32 points

on the 22nd Feb we are playing for 42 points, 14 games left, from today we cannot afford to win less than 10 games

How about the players playing with a bit more verve? None of this nonsense is down to the supporters.

I cannot imagine the supporters of some well known clubs being anywhere near as tolerant and patient as Bristol City supporters.
Our players have let us down over the last four seasons, yet we still clap them off when they are losing 0-2 at home at half time.
They are very fortunate that they have not had to put up with the sort of abuse dished out by Leeds fans after their recent defeat at Rochdale!
Perhaps some pure vitriol might wake them up.

They get away with it here,so so soft is our feelings to the garbage they produce.

As said the money this squad is paid they are a disgrace to the shirt.

You can see and feel through the forums fans are getting fed up with constant crap being produced week in week out by these very well paid players.

We will know our fate come the end of this month. All to play for at the moment, but we need to get off the mark with 3 points today and Carlisle are not good travellers

    Anyone care to comment?
I will start...we are ****te and we are bust!
We all thought Feb would define our season and it just looks a lot worse now to me. Games are fast running out and we still have relegation form.....

March is a very busy month, for most of our near rivals busier than us, DUE TO POSTPONEMENTS, come 1st April AND A MUCH CLOSER league table will paint ....
    a) a grimmer picture
    b) a rosier picture

    a) the most likely

If Crewe win at Stevenage tonight they will be 5 points clear of us having played the same number of games. That is worrying when they are one of the weakest teams in this division.

If that comes to pass I reckon you can say goodbye to Stevenage so it will be perm any 3 from about 9 clubs to fill the other relegation slots

Unless we win some back to back games starting from Saturday we will be one of those 3 clubs

    NO MORE DRAWS !!

Absolutely....looking up there are teams to be drawn down, but we need at least 2 or 3 back to back wins. Even Coventry are in bad form now after a good start and the likes of Oldham still have a lot to do.

The thing that worries me is this "we need 2 or 3 wins back to back" thing.....we have won so few games so far with 3/4 of the season gone that I just cant see us suddenly finding the form to do it. Can anyone HONESTLY say they have seen enough to think otherwise? I cant..........

We have 7 games in March and realistically we will need to win 4 or more of those.

After Gillingham at home on Saturday (must win) we travel to Shewsbury (must win), then are away at Peterborough. Next it's Swindon at home (must win), Colchester away (mustn't lose) than Port Vale home (must win) and Rotherham away.

If we could get 12 or more points from these games we would go into the last 6 fixtures with a decent chance of staying up, but given we've only won two games in a row once this season I'm not expecting miracles.
