We could be anywhere from 12th to 17th after Saturday. Being 12th wouldn't mean we are safe but 17th would be pretty scary.
Only when we have reached 40 points plus will the bed wetters and hissy fitters relax. I am very happy with what we have done so far this season.
Unfortunately 'what we have done so far this season' won't keep us up. Whatever has happened in the last 29 league games is in the past - it's what happens in the next 9 now that matters. A ball hitting the post instead of going in, a poor official's decision, players missing a sitter - these are all probable occurrences that will determines who stays up and who goes down. It's twitchy arse time.....
Not for me(re. Twitchy arse time). I am enjoying this season. Shame others cannot. But i do agree with Steve Bruce. Tghe next 4 games will determine how we finish the season and where ?
Besides each place being worth a lot of money it will also help in recruitment in the summer. I think footballers may look at the end of season table when making decisions rather than use more subjective methods - I mean besides the money thrown at them! If City tail off after looking safe it could still be detrimental for next season.
Agreed. A Hull City 10th place finish - 2 trips to Wembley and a place in next season europa league will put Steve Bruce well ahead in the race for players. Plus quite alot of millions from the PL prize fund wont hurt either.
