12th April

Is it tomorrow that is the 100th anniversary of the Titanic striking the iceberg? I seem to recall it was the 12th.

Is anyone planning any street celebrations?

Even though it is my 40th on 17th April I am planning a quiet night in after work and maybe get Citizen Kane and Casablanca out on DVD. Never cugged over Ingrid Bergman before, now's as good a time as any to be honest.

I spent hours learning to smoke like Humphrey Bogart, in the hope Ingrid Bergman'd walk into a bar in Muswell Hill.
Agree about Grace Kelly, but Greta Garbot was the hottest of all the Goddess' of the silver screen.

 

Those were the days when smoking was uber-cool. Now it's merely cool.

 

It'll always be cool to smoke. Sadly, I had to stop cos it's ****in expensive and I couldn't run for a bus, but God I miss it.
