That's Mon's record since December. We had 11 points and were in a complete mess, staring into the relegation abyss. Now, we are 8th, hot on the heels of Liverpool and the mags, into the quarter finals of the FA Cup on Saturday and the team no one wants to play. There are 30 points still to play for and I fancy we will be close to the magic 50 points mark by close of play in May.

A great platform to build on for Next season and a bright outlook for all concerned.

With so much still to play for in March, does anyone else stop to pinch themselves on a daily basis as I do.

Our season has been over in January for so long I'm not sure how to react really but I'm having fun working it out. Even if we get knocked out this weekend coming, we have much still to play for and that's a great feeling.

I think we'll get a draw at Goodison, then a replay, under the lights at the SOL, with a refreshed Sess back....

I'd never predict a win over Everton, because then i'd be an idiot.

From memory we have won 1 penalty shoot out ever? vs Everton.

The Everton jinx has to go some time. Shame for David Moyes, but no-one left in the cup scares me now.

You forgot about our ability at home to play on our beautifully manicured pitch

To be fair to Osman, it was a smashing mid air heel click he pulled off when he chinned himself...

Tell you what though, it's got the look of a proper cup tie ain't it?

Sold out well in advance, 2 teams very even, form and ability wise, 2 great defensive records, 1 club hoodoo on the line.

It's gonna be a good un!

Yeah the other 3 ties look pretty poor to be honest. Better draw for us than for your lot, but it could have been a much much better draw. Whoever loses is going to be absolutely gutted. Hope there aren't any contentious decisions either way.

Also hope we win like obviously because i'm going

I'd have taken anyone at home, but we were all saying before the draw 'not Everton away, anyone but Everto.... awwww ****e...'

Hoodoo's are there to be broken, what better time than a cup Quarter final!

I'm never going to predict a win at Goodison but this Mon team has real steel and endeavour about it. This is not a 7-1 losing team and if Everton fans think along those lines on Saturday, they are in for a very long and unhappy lunchtime.

It will be a very tight, tense and hard fought affair with very few real chances at both ends imo, very much like yesterdays game against The pool.

I'd take a draw now and a replay but would love to nick it on the day by the odd goal.

I like Everton and despise moaning Liverpool. Moyes is a top, top class act as well. I too will follow Everton and hope they win the cup, if we can't make it through of course.

I'm pretty sure we'd never won at Wigan or Stoke before O'Neill came in: that terrible record against Everton is in the past, it makes no difference when the players walk out on the pitch! Couldn't believe the negativity when the draw came through, you'd think some of our fans had written us off already... Everton are always a tough test but at the quarter final stage you've got to expect to play good sides. I'm quietly confident about our chances at the weekend. :)
