Who do you think would win in a 100m race between Raheem Sterling and Jordan Ibe?

Such an exciting season coming up with these two and of course Coutinho!

Hard to say! Both lightning quick. Really impressed with them in the two games thus far in pre-season, both quick, skilful but that isn't all their games consist off. Both are tactically aware and can play a pass. Nurture them two well and they'll save us millions down the line.

dunno.... who'd win over ten yards as well.... i reckon somehow stelring might do the 10 yards but would fade whereas ibe would run the lot at power.

    Ibe.

Sterling would get distracted at some point by some teenage girls outside JD Sports.

Really good point, that speed from standing can be the difference.

    Actually no <laugh>

I reckon he could though, he may be pretty crap at the moment, but is still pretty quick.

When he deliberately takes them to a dodgy curry house some time before the match so he can get a game.

He could be the fastest man in the world, still wouldn't make a difference because he doesn't use it. Receive ball, stop, turn around, pass backwards ad nauseum.

Oh and Ibe over 100m definitely, much more explosive power there.

  12. downing was shocking against Indonesia (only watch it last night). The number of times he was one on one with a defender but turned back was unreal. I'd rather he lost the ball nine times out of ten than not try. If he can't beat that standard of defender then what chance has he got against against Premier League players.

I know... I'll hang my head. I get pretty annoyed with the dooms day posts on here but the Reina news has hit me hard. Technically we are now a loaning club!

  19. Was only joking anyway pal <ok>

Unfortunately, because we don't have billionaire owners that pump buckets of cash into the club each summer (not that I want them) and we don't have CL football either, we are a selling club in that if we get a big offer for our star player then we have to consider it as it may well mean we can improve as a team/squad as a result.
