Since Sir Bobby Passed. So many happy memories. I’ve never seen a sporting person with so much adulation across sports fans around the globe. I’ve met him a few times and always had time for me and a smile. This year i’m also Running the GNR for the Sir Bobby Robson foundation along with George Caulkin and about 98 others. Never realised it was 10 years since he passed until today. RIP Bobby. Loneker really sums things up here.
Shameful what our club did to him. What a terrific man and manager, I think probably one of the best human beings to enter the world stage and represent England and the United Kingdom. I remember watching his tribute when we and Ipswich put on a joint tribute for him, my Granddad was singing along to the song with all the fans in the stadium, fantastic.
It’s a shame there are few I. Football now like Sir Bobby. Leo reminds me of him. Looking at Jose speak here he is so much in reverence of him. But look at the spark in his eyes.. says a lot.
The bloke is an absolute legend, plain and simple. A true gentleman of football, respected and loved by literally everybody he met. He's had the fortune to manage some of the biggest clubs in the world and had some of the greatest players in the world playing for him. One of a kind like!
The mould was certainly broken after Sir Bobby arrived. Hard to believe it's been ten years since his passing. A truly great human being. The rarest of the rare.

That originates from being a team which for stretch of history punched above it's weight (with borrowed money.) It is not at all a coincidence that Newcastle fans are regarded as delusional, it's because we have been for many many years. I'd say it's only been the past 6-7 years that we have been blasted down to reality by Ashley and co. We seriously believed we could sack Robson and move for someone bigger, better, someone who will win us the big leagues. We were bottom of the table when he took us over, we were struggling a bit when we got rid of him and we never once raised to the heights that he pushed us too. This is why I struggle to muster up a serious foaming rage for our current predicament. It's always been a bemusement that our owner is so lazy than being furious at how we're treated. We treat players and managers just as bad, if not worse.
Exactly ! The reality is we are where financially we should be ... 10th to 13th isnt bad for us without risking being the next leeds.. ashley is a good owner .
