The hairs on the back of my neck were standing up watching that ! We all spent the rest of that evening in a boozer on Baker Street and rather than buying rounds of beer it was bottles of Veuve Clicquot that everyone was taking turns in for a swig from the neck, great memories.
Samuel Gary Igoe , I wonder what he is up to these days ? must be in his forties now, last I heard of him he was turning out for Bognor Regis !
One of the greatest days ever, hence that I continue to keep it as my profile pic. I still can't believe how Richard Walker scored the second goal from THAT position.
I still dont know how he scored the 1st. Outside of his foot and somehow it sneaked passed the post and went in. If Messi did that, the press would be having a field day raving about it. But that 2nd goal was pure class. Not many goals at the new Wembley will be better than that. Well, maybe this one is better
