Thats what Brucey stated a few weeks ago for automatic promotion, since which we've secured two of those. So 8 to go, 11 matches left; no wonder Brucey has stopped banging on about that! Doable, but looking less likely with every match at the moment
Yeah he said 10 wins and a few draws, like you say we've got 2 of those wins and the draws. We're more than capable of getting another 8 wins but doing it is another thing. TWT
Given that the Allams only get rid of managers for not being subservient enough, it's clear they won't be getting rid of SB anytime soon. So rEhab should come out and give a positive promotion rallying call interview to help all concerned. Is that too much to ask?
poor performance again yesterday, but we still had enough chances to win it. 20 odd shots, 4 or 5 on target? We certainly need to give a forest a beating in midweek if only to give the confidence a lift before Boro away on Friday. I'll say again, avoid defeat at Boro and we should have enough in the tank to do it!
Borough's last game is home v BHA, the only other team who look capable of getting automatic. You couldn't make it up.
I believe Brucey said yesterday that 86 points should suffice, and that to get 86 points and not be automatically promoted would be unlucky. With 11 games left, very doable but need a confidence lift starting on Tuesday against the Florists! Personally think with 3-4 teams going for it feel we may need a few more; I don't think we can drop more than 9 between now and the end of the season?
Apart from Burnley, no one is racking up the wins. BHA- draw too many, last game is at Borough Derby- conceded 3 in last 7 mins yesterday. How much belief do they have that they can overhaul us? SWFC in 6th- another team who draw too many. Do they really have a chance of overhauling us? It's looking like Burnley and either us, BHA or Borough. Still think we're favourites for automatic from these 3.
Ehab spouts so much crap (this weeks example about away ticket pricing being the latest; he totally missed the point) that it would be a totally meaningless speech
Doesn't he have any thoughts on our situation? Does he think he can say nowt that might help his manager and players? Or is he just sat at home watching on telly and above it all? No need to answer that one, actually.
Not according to the present league table it isn't. 1 Burnley 37 30 74 2 Middlesbrough 35 26 67 3 Hull 35 28 65
