OK 10 matches left. How many points do you think we need? I reckon 5 more wins and a couple of draws should be enough. It's in our hands COYR!

20 points would surely do it.

I agree with your estimates,5 - 6 wins should be enough but you never know we could all go on bad runs and not need as many.

10 wins would be nice, if only to deny the very best efforts of the chasers. I honestly don't think we can be as profligate as dropping as many as 10 or 13 points. Both West Ham and Reading continue to surprise me, for different reasons, and I don't see Reading dropping that many points. If we want to be Champions, as well as being promoted, then neither can we.

    6 away & 4 at home.

blimey, just 4 more home games, that came as a bit of a shock. This really is the point where the season hurtles towards a conclusion.

Yeah, same here when I first worked it out. 5H & 6A for WHU, 4H & 7A [yep SEVEN away] for Reading.

We are in the enviable position of knowing that it is in our hands...9 wins and a draw will definately be enough seeing as Reading and West Ham have to play each other and our GD is so good. I was looking through previous year's totals and suprisingly, apart from half a dozen seasons in 25, 81pts was enough to clinch second place. Interestingly, 75 pts has been enough for a play-off place ever since the Championship had 24 teams in 1987.
