We need 5 or 6 to beef the squad up at this current moment if as suggested we move on the likes of Bardsley, Vaughan, Killa, Bramble, McClean and Graham this summer how many players do we realistically need? I would add Westwood to that as I cannot see him sitting on the bench for another season and not forgetting Rose and Mangane are back to ther parent clubs Huge summer for Di Canio
I cannot see that many coming in. It is a big risk to make massive change in one window. 5 or 6 in this Summer and 3 good players each Summer. Anyway, Di Canio knows what he is at.
I believe we need at least that many. Did anybody see our bench today? Kids some of them looked as if they had come straight out of detention. With our record of injuries and sending offs we should ask for special dispensation off the FA and ask to have a 40 man squad
More importantly we need to keep hold of Mig,Sess,Fletch,Coleback and get Rose. The rest Apart from maybe OShea/Catts i wouldn't be surprised if they left.
I don't know of the numbers but a massive influx of players need to be brought in just to beef up the squad, without even considering replacing the dross like Larsson and McLean
In a totally reckless deluded bellend toon sort of manner, I will bet you any amount of money you like that we will not sign 10 players this summer. Probably 4 or 5. Maybe even 5 or 6 at a push but nowhere near 10. Maximum spending £10m cash + any sales and wage off loading. It will be better next season hopefully but don't be expecting miracles
Don't want miracles FC just a good solid reliable season with no relegation worries AT ALL. Then like you say move forward the following season.
I would love to be one of these boring, mid table sides who don't really have anything to play for come April! Safe from relegation, and in the top 10. If Carlsberg did dreams eh?
need 5 or six first teamers not squad players, if move anybody out we need a replacement for that player on top of the 5 or 6 we need imo
