Some positives to take from the game:

    1) I'm very happy we have Rosicky in the squad he is a great option in the middle of the field. He gave us an extra edge going forward and changed our play alot. Glad he is showing form that should keep him at the club after alot of people where calling for him to be sold not long ago.

    2) Miquel is comming along nicely was not worried at all on the left side of defence. He will be good cover and should develop into a good player.

    3) Santos was one of the best players on the pitch until he went off - hopefuly its not bad as he is a definate first team player for me. Going forward he is very dangerous and looks the part defensively now as well. He works very hard and love his style.

    4) Vermaelen looked good - not spectacular but was always working hard.

    5) Frimpong looks like he is developing well - he really wants to do well and was good going forward and at breaking up play but dithered a little on the ball at times. Good performance though especialy as its in the CL away.

    6) Chamakh worked very hard, could maybe have done better and not in RVP's league but a good squad player i think and he works for the team. Didn't have the best service either.

    7) Nice goal by Benayoun.

    8) Oxocube did well and will be a very good player for us.

    9) Arshavin didn't track back enough but showed signs of something good and i still think he can regain some form if he gets some time on the pitch - he would of had a goal as well if benayoun didn't jump back for the shot and miss.

    10) It gave good experience to the young players to play away in a hostile stadium in the CL against Greek Champions who need a result and are working hard for it.

    ----

    A couple of negatives:

    1) Our back-up GK's can't handle pressure. And were poor.

    2) Squillaci and Djourou on the same pitch shouldn't be aloud to happen. Djourou was tragic and Squillaci was ok at times but not very good at other times and next to Djourou they where the weak link. Should really sign a new back-up CB if there is one available who is happy on the bench. Can't wait for Sagna to be back in the team though as this will balance things out alot and give real strength to the back-line.

Seems to confirm - Squishy, Arshavin, Chamakh, Djourou- and Almunia, Bendtner to get rid.

Agreed! we actually have a massive squad but we lack real quality.

Need to add another 'quality' striker that's for sure.

Yes, Almunia particularly was awful yesterday :) And only the laziest ones haven't jumped on "Get-rid-of-squil" bandwagon. Squillacci was quite good yesterday.
