Personally I don't care about the other teams. We have to take points where and whenever possible and stop giving stupid last minute goals away for starters. I can also say for sure that we wont get more than 6-7 points at the very most from those 4 games, and possibly considerably less. In addition, it helps to get the occasional point on the board if a team is able to muster one or more shots on target in a game, unlike us at Reading last Saturday,
Well you should! I couldn't care less about any of the top 16 clubs / clubs 9 or more points ahead of us! we need 3 wins and a draw just to draw up to them... and will they convieniently lose 4 to let us do that! guaranteed just 6 points from the 4 games and we will a Div 1 club next season.

I understand that we all give a cheer when the teams unfortunate enough to be relegation contenders lose, but if we have to rely on the Charlton's of this world to do us favours then we are doomed. A nod's as good as a wink to a blind horse.

It was just a general statement and not a downer on the folks from the Happy Valley. I used to go there a lot with Ann in my dating days as she used to live in Charlton, and spent many hours on the vast terraces that were the Valley in those days and always entered through the Sam Bartram gate. I admired Curbishley for his part in keeping Charlton in the upper tiers for a good many years, and I also met Eddie Firmani when he was a visitor to Ann's house. First team that came to mind Prem but with only good intentions as I have a place in my memory bank for them.
