If true this'll put to bed any theories that we're not acting quick enough whilst clubs around us are 'apparently' making transfers alllll the time ...... Most likely to be Ba I'm imagining, if those rumours are true. Dunno about any development on the Naylor front to be honest?
If so, a step in the right direction though! I don't think anyone's slamming this signing at all, I still would like to see it done! cwarr's stating that there will be departures this week too ... 'apparently'. Here's hoping it's the likes of Smithy/Xisco than Jose etc .....
Agree. Naylor might not be the most exciting player we've been linked with but we have been crying out for a backup left back for about three seasons and it is a role that needs to be filled, so i'd be happy with that.
If Naylor is signed and Enrique stays then perhaps Ferguson will be allowed to develop as a left winger rather than a defender as the attacking flair to his game certainly suits a midfielder far better.
Good to see we're pressing on. I dont understand this whole "ugh, we aint making signings m'larky" because, we've just signed a solid midfielder, and to my knowledge only Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool have made signings. Correct me if im wrong.
I so hope you are correct. I want a flair player onboard to get excited about! What about this 'unknown' european striker? Or was that just to sell the Sunday Sun?
'Arry said he wanted to add more experience to the squad and now Spurs average player age has reached 32... This would never have happened if Comolli was still there. They'd have ended up with Thibaut Corbois from Genk (as linked in May 2011 to NUFC)
