10 days after the eagerly awaited start to the season we have already played 4 games ???
With the cost of a ticket, transport etc to go and watch a game, surly numbers must drop as we can only afford so much, Any ideas ??
Why are we playing Tuesdays as well as Saturdays so soon into the season ? I appreciate 1 was a cup match.
Why can we not just extend the season ! This would make it easier for fans to afford 1 game a week instead of 2, thus helping to keep the support numbers up. ?
    Thoughts please.
Here is hoping we can continue our run this evening UTG

thin k you mean will of once we've played barnet. think a lot of supporters budget for thw games across the whole season, given location etc and go from there. personally im gonna miss the second half of the season due to working abroad so im going to as many games as i can now, but there will be others who make it to 90% of games and will maybe miss out on a few trips early in the season. it will affect numbers slightly but not dramatically i would have thought

The sun must be getting to Lenny! I think his point is why does the team play two games a week for part of a season. He is overlooking the fact that there are 52 weeks in a year of which about 10 are needed for player's and management holidays/ground maintenance/pitch relaying etc. That leaves 42 weeks of which a couple will be unfit through adverse weather leaving 40 to play 46 league games and 3 Cup competitions, say 54 games on average. 54 into 40 does not go so the real question is "Would everyone like a smaller league and fewer cup competitions with much higher admission charges to recover expenses over fewer games?" I think i know the answer.
