Thats just renewals and if you haven't renewed yet you have until Sunday! The lower half of the stadium holds 19k I think next year the away fans get a 2k allocation so we only really need to sell another 4000-5000 more season tickets and the bottom half will be full (so long as POTD proves popular as well) so we could see that upper their open quite a bit next season. Would be amazing to see 27,000 watching a game at some point. Hopefully Newcastle, Sunderland, Villa or a decent FA Cup draw will attract the masses

You'd think so, even if it's not an attractive game you would think most city fans will want to come down to see what the ground looks like. If we ever did make it to the prem then we would sell the ground out no problem but first things first, we need to become an established top half championship team, which I think we'll manage next season so hopefully average crowds of 18-20k next season won't be to hard to achieve.

Potentially exciting times coming to Ashton Gate over the next few years - SL and Bristol Sport may have their critics, but we're in the Championship, almost secured survival and soon to have a completed, shiny renovated stadium. Hopefully we're building some solid foundations for years to come.

Hopefully they'll be a buzzing atmosphere come Derby games with 23,000+ home fans. Would like to try out the top teir for a game to see what its like.

That's what me and my mate will be doing, if the top tier ever opens for a game we'll try it out the once. Can't imagine tickets will be cheap though!

Anyone else think that they should have had a bigger singing section in the south stand rather than a smaller one in the Atyeo?

There is going to be some big crowds next season.
I see people are now warming to the fact of 20000+ crowds
When i first said we could expect crowds of this size and more the feeling was i was talking rubbish:emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:

Yes, it is stupid to waste funds on segregation just to have 1,000 City in there. Too much tail wagging the dog in my opinion!

City have to allocate at least 10% of all available seats for away fans

I was slightly wrong > Football League rules 34.2.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club’s certified capacity, if less than 2,000.

I can see us getting in excess of 20,000 or so for the opening home game of next season. Should that be against someone like Villa or Newcastle then we could get 23,000 or more.

I'm hoping we don't play Villa or Newcastle in the first month.
Remember two years ago we played the Gas to 18k plus then the Saturday after back down to 12k.
A good start and get the crowds in then play Villa who will easily bring 5k if they are allowed.

let's face it though I would imagine a majority of Villa and Newcaste (if they come down) games wIll be on the TV so I can't see us play either at home at 3pm on a Saturday especially if we are due to play either early doors
