It was on the BBC news this morning, and I quote "I could never vote for anything that would make my constituents worse off"
It's a fair point to put to Labour MP's - because you're not just voting for Brexit but for a pretty certain Tory election win soon after. This is also starting to gain momentum as an issue for Tory whips - how to get hardliner ERG and Labour rebels on board for same deal with threat or promise of no deal next year
Off topic for a moment but.... Recently it was pervert Salmond getting taxpayers money for his legal bills, now this rapacious **** dipping her grubby hands in the pot, **** the Scottish Nazi Party. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-49971577
Looks like the Letwin amendment may pass tomorrow and then if it does the vote tomorrow will no longer be crucial.
I disapprove of this, to be clear, but mentions of things like this really boil my piss when I think of some of the current incumbents in Parliament who somehow got away for claiming for moats, dovecotes, houses they rented out etc. A few pairs of shoes is nothing compared to some of the fraud that went on. Most of the house should have been jailed, but didn't. And there they all are, standing on the moral high ground. Basturds.
Just been having a quick (yes, quick) read of your 'new' BREXIT deal. While I do believe you would be better off out of the EU, I cannot see much benefit in this new deal for you. You would still be tied to EU rules and have to pay them some 60 mill quid for the honour of (almost) leaving. What's the point? This business has been a total feck up from the off nd doesn't seem like being anything else for the foreseeable future. What now? Bring back Ms May, she wasn't as funny as Boris and you could at least hate her.
Today, if the MP's vote in line with the way their constituencies voted, Boris should win this by a majority of 100. Instead, I fear we will witness the chasm between our Parliament and the people laid bare in all of its shameful contempt for our democracy!
