From what I can gather, Mays deal kept UK in the singles and custom markets, and not just cos of the back stop. Uk is now out of the EU lock stock and barrel except for rearrangement of the back stop, which is under UK rule.
Juncker rules out a Brexit extension, or, as Juncker puts it, no prolongation of Brexit. . He actually says it twice............but we've heard that before, so watch this space.
JRM likes the deal. JRM was dead set against no extension, in favour of leaving the EU lock stock and Barrel, and against signing over our forces to EU control. He also takes a stab at Treasonous May.
It’s not his decision, Tusk leads council of ministers and they decide - he said a neutral ‘ will consider it if requested’. They aren’t going to say anything else at this point, I think for obvious reasons. But they do not want a no deal outcome.
Meanwhile, this amused me: https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/p...-three-years-saying-the-exact-opposite/17/10/
The papers are all saying different stuff about the vote tomorrow. I tend to believe the FT who says he is 2 votes short - if that’s true he will probably get it over the line somehow
And his speech to the DUP conference last year. But don't worry Nigel and Boris and JRM aren't lying to you... You're the ones they really care about.
Seems def won't get DUP. Looks like he will get the Spartans so likely be down to the Tories who have had the whip removed who he will probably get and then the Labour rebels (who he shouldn't get but he might because some of them like Kinnock are ****ing idiots)
Kinnock comes across as that rare breed of sensible Labour MP's, unlike his dad who is a complete and utter ****.
First time I've ever agreed with him. I would add though that no one in their right mind would vote for McDonnell either - or any of the twats in the Shadow Cabinet for that matter.
John Mann labour MP just announced he will vote for the deal and expects there will be double figures doing the same.
