Yes, I was being a little vague wasn't I. What I meant to say was am I missing anything that is credible, informative and designed to provide a view based on factual information and/or plausible conjecture.

No idea, never been near it (or heard of it), but clearly, if you were missing anything of note, it's most certainly not been passed on in this thread!

Anybody listen to WATO on the BBC from Dublin today? If you want to gain an insight into the realities of a no deal Brexit you should, if all you’re interested in is facile forum sound bites to gloss over reality you won’t.

If you can’t hack the whole thing just listen from minute 31 till the end.

Course the Tories couldn’t find anyone to contribute, difficult to defend the indefensible, and they obviously couldn’t let Boris loose.

Highway to Hell, and by the way, I have no axe to grind politically in terms of UK/United Ireland sh1t, looks like the UK is a thing of the past anyway.

I'm with you Davy, I've no axe to grind. I do find it a shame that reasonable discussion gets lost in tribal rhetoric and false information. This really is a serious thing for the UK to be doing and ..... Well, good luck to them. We are negotiating a trade deal with the EU and then perhaps the UK, if it still exists !!

The UK as an entity now looks like it’s liable to disintegrate though Eric, and therefore major implications for NI, Eire, Scotland and Wales - and England.

The Little Englanders just haven’t thought through the implications for either them or their neighbours and the ongoing possibilities of civil unrest reaching beyond NI, and the devastating impact that may have on the pound, the attractiveness of England for trade deals and the consequent voter dissatisfaction on the ground.

But who cares, certainly not the Tories. No deal is the only deal, no plan is the only option, and previously working-class bedrock voters have been conned into believing it’s about “taking the country back” instead of lining the pockets of the privileged.

The possible NI/Ireland implications of getting this Brexit thing wrong are too nasty to contemplate. I suspect that there is a cautious tolerance of issues in NI at the moment but should the status quo be disturbed then a new generation will become politicised and segregated and that doesn't really have a good ending. Please forgive my ignorance, just a view from a distance.

Eric, please lend your binoculars to some closer to home, but warn them they’ll need to take their heads out of the sand and open their eyes to make use of them.

If they reach Boris, pulling his finger out of his @rse might be helpful too.

I think it's his head that needs pulling out of his arse!

Seriously though, I'm not really up to date on this Brexit thing, and most certainly not familiar with what's happening in Ireland. What exactly is (are) the precise issue(s) that concern everyone? And must all be resolved satisfactorily, or would 'they' settle for some specific ones? Also, am I safe in assuming that 'they' live in Norn?

All I've heard discussed in the media over here is 'the backstop', and usually only in broad trading terms. If specific detail has been discussed, then it's passed me by, as I've now reached the stage where I hear the word 'Brexit' & switch off /over.

Sadly, I can see this country being ripped apart.

Farage, who opposed Tommy Robinson finally admits, and / or agrees with what Tommy Robinson has been saying for years.

This is a typical example of turning a blind to certain issues then wake up when it's nearly too late, or too late.

You're getting there Milky, you got half of it right.......it's actually Duran Duran, not "the Duran". I suppose credit is due for getting one word right.

Whilst i appreciate the rhetorical nature of the question, as you couldn’t be bothered to follow the link, i posted previously, I’ll help you with a quote from media bias fact check:

    • Overall, we rate The Duran a Questionable source based on far right wing bias, promotion of Russian propaganda and right wing conspiracies, a lack of transparency, use of poor sources and plagiarism.

Wtf do people think will happen on the border roads on 1st November, with no technology and no physical presence of any kind?

No Davy, you’ve just been conned by the mainstream media because your a bit thick and very gullible.

Everything is going to be fine. Fine upstanding men, bursting with integrity like boris and nige, tell us so.

We’ll leave, rustle up a few quick trade deals the day we leave with China and the US and still have time for a round of golf and a quick pint.
